UK Stock - Annual Return since 1980

Performance of UK stock market was tracked using the Financial Times Stock Exchange 100, commonly known as the FTSE 100 index.  It is an index compiled of the largest 100 companies listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) by market capitalization.  It accounts for approximately 81% of the entire market capitalization of the LSE and is widely viewed as the best indicator of the health of UK stocks.
